Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data ClientPick, operated by ELK NEST LLC, collects, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Data about you, our customer

• Account: your email address and a hashed password.
• Your brief: what you sell and who your customers are, and any market or language you set.
• Your activity: results you save or archive, your Wrote and Replied marks, and message drafts you edit.
• Payments: handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your card details; Paddle tells us whether a subscription is active.
• Technical: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and your theme choice stored in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We use this data to provide the service, to bill you, to keep the service secure and to contact you about your account. Our legal basis is the contract with you and our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

2. Data about the people in your results

ClientPick shows public Threads posts and the public profile details that come with them, such as a username, a profile link and, where someone has published it in their profile, a contact address. We collect only what has been made public, keep it to show it to customers whose brief it matches, and summarise posts rather than copying them in full. Our legal basis is legitimate interest. Anyone who appears in ClientPick can ask us to remove their data at [email protected], and we will remove it.

3. Who processes data for us

• Paddle.com — payments, invoicing and tax, as Merchant of Record.
• Our hosting provider — runs the servers and the database.
• OpenAI — when enabled, matches posts to briefs and drafts messages; it receives the post text and your brief, not your account details.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, under the safeguards the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to close it, except what we must keep for tax and accounting. Result data is removed when it is no longer shown to anyone or when the person asks.

5. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.

6. Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email.
